Rockford International Aiprort is the closest geographically, however you will probably NOT find direct flights, and tickets will more than likely be more expensive because of that. Chicago, IL – O’hare International Airport (ORD) will probably produce the cheapest airfare. From O’hare there would be about 1h 15min commute to the party.

All of the Motels are going to be very “Budget Friendly” places to stay, though I’ve never stayed at any of them. They are all older mom and pop, semi-run down sort of places. If you are looking for a nice, decent hotel room, the Holiday Inn Express is going to be where you want to stay.
