Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
If you want to see change you have to change.
And I don’t mean you have to think differently, or look at it differently… I mean at your core you have to become a different person.
If you don’t like the path your on, get on a different path.
How Do I Change?
Visualize where you want to be, set a goal, and then only make decisions that will get you to that goal.
Post weight loss, your a new you.
I bet no one ever told you that you can have a new outlook on life and you can become anyone you want to be.
Do it want to become the hot chick everyone else is envious of?
Do you want to become a bad boy that all of the ladies love to hate?
Do you want to be you, but just a healthier version of you?
Or do you want to be someone completely different than who you were before?
Well…You can be all of those things, or none of those things, but you and only you get to decide who you are and who your going to become.
What it’s not about!
It’s not about how many snacks you eat.. how many meals you had, how many carbs or grams of sugar you consume.
Yes.. that stuff matters, but it’s way to easy to get lost in the numbers.
It’s super easy to do, as we are all used to tracking our numbers from our previous dieting days.
It’s a game we are all super comfortable playing.
This journey isn’t about that.
What it is about is you finding out who the heck YOU are.
It’s time to Find you.
Once you find him/her… he/she will tell you if any of this other stuff your stressing about matters to the new you.
What you are probably seeing is the old you struggling with how to cope with how the new you has to live.
It’s time to let the old you go.
When you wake up in the morning if you still see the old you in the mirror, tell yourself it’s OK to let that person go.
Let the old you die.
Let him/her go.
The old you had issues with food, was overweight, and more than likely struggled with various aspects of your life.
If you continue to make similar decisions as you had in the past with food choices you made, people you associated with, etc… Your destine
to walk the same path you’ve already walked before.
Get off that path as that’s not the destination you desire.
If you choose… the new you doesn’t have to struggle with any of that at all.
Free yourself, find yourself, and let all this bullshit go.
Drop that baggage and transform into the butterfly you were always meant to be.
Easier said than done Don!
But Don… I have children, and my schedule is crazy, my job sucks, my finances are a mess, and I’m in the middle of getting a divorce, or my spouse is a monster…
YUP! All of that is probably true for you, but I can put you in contact with peers here that have walked your walk. You are not alone.
You have to make you a priority in your life. This means putting others 2nd.
It’s not easy to do, but it can be done, and it start’s by you adding NO into your vocabulary.
Baby steps… Start telling people no if it’s not something you need to do for them.
Others, even your children, will start to figure out how to cope and survive on their own.
You don’t need to be the glue that holds it all together as it causes you to unravel personally.
To see change, you have to change.
Become the person you have always wanted to be, and it all starts with a single step in that direction.
My belief in you:
I may or may not know you personally… but I do know that you contain within you everything you need to be a success. Life can seem mysterious at times, but at its core, your in control of your life. You’re the only one capable of changing your life. Yes there are exterior influences, and challenges that can complicate things, but that’s just noise. Boiled down to the bare minimum, your steering the ship… or not, and for most of us that struggle with weight issues we’ve not been in control of the ship for quite some time.
I aim to show you that you can take control of the helm again. I hope to empower you to take back control of your life and to inspire you to achieve ANYTHING you’ve ever hoped to achieve, and I don’t aim to do it alone. With this show I aim to show you hundreds, if not thousands of other people that have battled their demons and won.
